The Process

What we offer

1. Initial Brief

Get in touch and we can talk through your project. This is an opportunity to find out some basic details for the initial brief. I will ask some simple questions about your property to help me understand your needs.

2. On Site Meeting

At this point there is no commitment from you, but an opportunity to see the property and discuss the brief in more depth. It is important that I help you understand the process and how I work.

3. Fee Proposal

I will put together a full scope of works alongside a design fee proposal. Once you have reviewed this, asked any further questions, and are ready to approve, we can proceed with the project.

4. The Design process begins

From concept to completion….!

  1. Concept - I present images and ideas that illustrate the look and feel of the house. This includes reference to colours and style.

  2. Design Development - This element forms the main part of the process, which brings together the schemes, fabrics, finishes alongside lighting, furniture and joinery solutions. The detail will include loose lighting and furniture layouts.

  3. Realisation - Once all schemes and layouts have been approved, we then begin the process of putting it into action! This usually includes working with your preferred contractors and trades, liaising with suppliers and ordering furniture, soft furnishings, lighting and accessories.

  4. Installation - At this point your home is ready for us to move everything in and apply the final layer of dressing for the house.

Design Consultation Service

Not all situations will warrant the full design service, so that is why we can also offer a consultation service, that will hopefully save you time and money in the long run.

How it works….

  • Starts with a phone consultation to discuss the areas you need help with.

  • Follows with a visit to your property with samples, spending a few hours with you making choices on areas such as decoration, furniture placement, choosing a paint colour scheme that flows through your home, or editing existing furniture and accessories.

  • Finishes with a summary of points covered and any information documented to help you move forward with your project.

Typically, a consultation will start around £395
